The rush of excitement that spirals up their tail as you grab the leash from its hook. That tongue in your rear view, flying and dancing in the wind. Putting that last toy back in its basket, just to have them all snatched and thrown about again.

 

A friendly laugh you share over the butt sniffing circle at the park. The saving grace of a water bowl on a hot summer's day. Neglecting to vacuum, because you've both agreed that machine is the devil. Lying at the very edge of the bed because to you, four legs deserves more room than two.
